A major part of owning a Harley Davidson is being able to customize it. Harley riders are famous for their love of individuality. The twists and turns of those silver pipes smooth the flow of exhaust and actually increase power slightly. This is because if air enters the exhaust pipe at the wrong time, it could slightly back pressure the next cylinder to fire, causing a small reduction in power. Harmonic pipes eliminate this.

Whatever customization you undertake for your bike, be sure to check your state's regulations first. Often states have limits to how high handle bars can be or how loud an engine can be.
